hey euh i got a q , is there like a clan or group whatever that helps transporters
i got myself in same senarios that some wolf dude or some other unfriendly type tries(and succeeds) to take my cargo
well isnt there like a clan that i can join who i will pay a split of my profit for a little protection from other clans ?
i'm willing to talk about the prices

Even there are some rules, if you don´t like to be in these situations..

If you trade.. You need informations about these players who like to play here.. So look for the kill messages.. Read the introducions of the clans of the server..

So you will get a feeling for this knowledge.. If you jump to the next system.. Look which guys are there.. Use some jumpholes..

And if you don´t like to have trouble.. Don´t enter the omicron systems if you see that they fight there..

As trader you should be attentive! First rule for traders...

Have fun.. don´t forget - pirates makes their job... Trader should not jump in "their arms" *fg*

thx but i know all these thing and i do watsh my back allways having the ships in my hud allways in turretview looking around
but when the guy sees you and he is in an eagle and your in a transporter
no way that u can run he'll just keep hitting you with cruise disruptor

i was thinking if ppl weren't interested in "babysitting" a trade convoy
for a few 10k's a system
could be good money

you can ask someone in game to escort you.
there is command /convoy.../escort thats how fighter will get money for escorting you.
Every begining is hard. You will soon learn who are pirats and who can help you. Listen to advice from Browneye look who is in the system you are going to jump, see who is pirat and who is antipirat, look the clan reputations. Of course one problem still remains neutral freelancers can always kill you, you can never know what is on his mind.

dude i just signed in for the tceagles
you think i can joint the 45th squadron ?

ive played the game for a while now but i dont understand the commands yet
i just highlite a npc ? or a real player and then type /convoy or /escort ?

I dont see a reason why not, fill the registration form and make post on recruiting station, but be patient and wait for clanleader to confirm that.
about convoy:
trasport: dock, type /convoy, buy cargo, exit.
fighter: dock on same base, exit, type /escort$ (trasport id).
mision is finished when you sell cargo and fighter dock on same base, I think you need to be in group but I am not sure.

I suggest you try the /help command and go through the list of options. They've got good explanation there too. Also, Wolfs don't hate you, they love you as you're a source of income. Wink

if i want to fill out the form does my name in the game need to contain a sertain something like i dont know -[TCEagle]- of something or -[45th squadron

yes you will need to put tag [45th] in front of your name, but only on your fighter char.
