Rename for Clan Admins

Hello i have an idea about another rename option.
This option could be only for clan admins, and they should be avaliable to rename only chars connected to their clans.
For example it could be used in few situations:
-if Leader wants force someone to leave clan than he removes his tag to prevent abuse,
-if newbie makes mistake in clan tag or something similar
-to help make fusions between clans

I assume that clan admins are responsible ppl, and it could be free or rly low price. My point is to help manage clan.

What do you think about this?

I am quite damn sure that this will get abused to rename chars of clan members who just want a other nick (nothing to do with clantag)

Give something for free and people will abuse it ..

Example of abuse : Player A is in clan X leaded by player B.Player A is to lazy to make 3 mils for rename so he asks player B to rename his char for free.

The price should be 1.5 mils / rename ..

@Bas it can be limited, lets say 1 rename for exact char per month, and if thats clan char, than nothing wrong...?

I like the idea and i dont see any kinds of abuse....

Clan Admins are responsible for their members and they know who should be renamed on what and how. Clan Admins could have a rule they can rename chars only on tagged char not to use them for renaming 1 freelancer char to another freelancer char name. If they dont use rename according to rules, they can lose feature and admins could have some kinda log.

If clan member leave clan, than clan admin could mark him he left clan and rename him to freelancer character, system would remove him from clanmanager minimal for 3 months, so player cant rejoin back in clan manager or get char hacked to +100

Most player who get kicked out of the clan have more then one char connected to the clan

Some time ago.. Nosfi was working on something comparable to this.. but there were difficults with his idea.

Those wouldnt be in the clanlist.. those newbies cant connect their chars with the clan

And also.. as it was said before.. things that can be abused, will be abused..

Anything can be abused thats why we got option, follow the rules or lose the feature.
If you got in mind what kinda abuses, write them so we can together think of failsafe.

thats the part, where i cant help. I play my little part in FL and use the legal things. I dont even thing about how i can abuse something..

My only notion is what Cougar said.. and i'm even there not sure, if i thought of it or i just thought about it, after Cougar posted it

Dunno why we need that , these functions are already here .
And its not up to the Clan Leader to decide who the name is , there are also thousands chars connected to clans whitout the clantag .

Clan Admins can kick players everytime , Players can rename their Chars everytime .
If they refuse to rename their char they can always be banned .

Point is perhaps, that we could use this only for tagged chars not untagged, if somebody make mistake on tagged char, clan leader could fix it without having to create new char, losing stats, transfer all to new char. Would be also cool feature for clans who got ranking system implemented into their clan chars, so they dont spend millions just cause somebody got promoted...
If somebody doesnt want rename after leaving, clan leader would easily without begging on server for ban remove his tag and say good bye...
We can look @ Skull and usf situation when they argued if its right that 1 of pilots keep using Skull tag and who had it before and who is actually a leader etc ...

IMHO the only solution w/o abuse chance:

Clan leaders can only remove the clantag from characters.

Nothing more. No renaming the whole nick, no repairing of the clan tag.

but what if there is a char named: XYZ and one named [CLAN]XYZ and now the clanleader decide that this player have to leave the clan. than there will be 2 chars with same name (XYZ) because the tag ([CLAN]) was removed.

like some others said already such a feature is not necessary in my opinion. there is a rename function in charmanager. and even when you ad a limitation or what ever ... i don't want to fight against plp or play with plp who change their names like underpants... Rolling Eyes
