setting admin?

hi im having a problem setting my first admin im typing
"setadmin BlackBeard superadmin"
and im getting "ERR exception occured"
can someone please tell me what im missing

tried that

".setadmin BlackBeard superadmin"

coming up "ERR unknown command"

does my char have to be logged in or out?

it mustn't be logged in but you have to type it into the FL-Hook Console without point
and if you aren't an Superadmin inGame you cant set it ingame with an point.

simply type(into running FL-Hook): "setadmin BlackBeard superadmin"

im typing that in the console not logged in getting "ERR exception occured"
is there no way to add it to an ini file or something?

ah sorted it was a flserver error had to uninstall the mod and then install the flserver 1.1 patch then reactivate, thanks for the help all Very Happy
